Hosted by Girne University, the 6th International Congress on Engineering and Life Sciences brought together engineering and life sciences in the Mediterranean with over 250 papers from 29 countries.

Nobel Prize-winning scientist Prof. Dr. Geoffrey Levermore participated as a guest speaker at the Congress, chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gizem KODAK, Dean of the Faculty of Maritime Operations and Management.

Prof. Dr. Levermore delivered a presentation titled “Climate Change, Net Zero, Technology and Ethics” and answered questions from scientists from different countries following his speech.
